Detectives from Region Three and Georgetown are still to locate seven-year-old Rafeal Boston, who was allegedly taken from his Greenwich Park, East Bank Essequibo home five days ago by three Venezuelan nationals.

The tearful mother says that she has not see her son since Saturday, October 28, when the trio allegedly took Rafeal on a Georgetown trip.

One of the Venezuelans, identified only as ‘Anthony’, had worked with her reputed husband in the interior. She said ‘Anthony’ came to her home after contracting malaria and she allowed him to stay.

A man and woman, ‘Richard’ and ‘Yonelli’, later arrived and she also allowed them to stay. She said they spoke mainly in Spanish.

She said that on Saturday, October 28, her guests indicated that they were going to Georgetown and requested that Rafeal accompany them.

Later, Rafeal’s dad allegedly contacted the trio by cell phone. He was reportedly told that they were at a party and Rafeal was with other children.

Since then, the phone on which the Venezuelans were contacted has been turned off.

A senior police official said that ranks from his region and those from Georgetown have made no headway in locating the adults and missing child.

Rafeal, who attends Greenwich Primary, was last seen wearing a blue shirt, a pair of green pants and slippers.

Anyone with information about the whereabouts of Rafael Boston can contact the family on Tel: (592) 659-7546 or notify the police.
