The Guyana Learning Institute today held a graduation Ceremony, where 30 women of the Mocha community successfully completed a four months course in Social Work.

Given the socio-economical variables of the beneficiaries, some being single parents, stay at home wives and youths in Mocha, the beneficiaries expressed their wishes to involve a prominent female at the Graduation to provide motivational remarks to enhance their personal and professional self in matters related to empowerment of women, areas that women should apply themselves to meaningfully contribute to Society.

Young Mariah Lyttle emerged as best graduating student and Valedictorian her batch.
