In an exciting development for football enthusiasts in Georgetown, last night marked the launch of the Georgetown Football Association (GFA) league.

 

The league, set to feature 12 teams from the Georgetown region, will serve as a thrilling competition where teams will vie for a coveted spot in the highly anticipated Elite League 2023/2024.

 

Matches will be played from Sunday 25 at the GFC Ground, Bourda Georgetown.

 

This landmark event signals a new era for football in Georgetown, promising intense matches, fierce rivalries, and a pathway for local talent to shine on the national stage.

 

The GFA league launch ceremony was held amidst great fanfare and anticipation. The event saw the participation of football officials, team representatives, and enthusiastic supporters who were eager to witness the commencement of this landmark tournament.
