Home intruder stabbed dead by pensioner

Christopher Gonsalves called ‘White Boy’ age 31, was stabbed to death after he invaded the home of a pensioner as he was home with his family. The incident took place just after 23:hrs on Monday evening.

Gonsalves of 291 Independence Boulevard Albouystown Georgetown invaded the home of 64 Year Old Brentnol Baker, of Lot 56 Brickdam and Chalmers Place, Stabroek, Georgetown.

Brentnol Baker, a businessman who owns and operates the Country Pride Real Estate and Industries told police detectives that he was watching television when he heard one of his family members scream.

Upon investigating, he found that a male was in his kitchen. As a result, the two began to scuffle and the pensioner armed himself with a knife and defended himself from the intruder who was already carrying a knife.

As a consequence, both men received injuries but the intruder’s injuries were fatal.

The police investigations are ongoing.
