Wendy Fraser, a single mother from New Amsterdam in Region Six, has written three books. The third of which was recently published and titled “Only You Can,” aims to inspire readers to live better lives.

“Only you can do the work, only you can make the change in your life, the name is because people say they are waiting on God to do things, but we have to do the practical work, only we can,” Fraser, an administrative assistant at the New Amsterdam Public Hospital, told Big Smith Newswatch on Thursday.

Fraser added that the book is a continuation of her second book, “Repair Your Crown,” which was released in 2020 and relates countless sorrows and shattered relationships.

Fraser claimed that once the second book was released, people got in touch with her to ask for more from the book.

Her first book, “Chosen Vessels,” which was released in 2019, addressed the purpose of people.

Fraser said she always had a passion for writing and had started out in journalism when she finished school.

“Whenever things bother me, I would just write and I would read a lot, even in school the teachers would tell me I am good writer,” Fraser said during the interview.

She is now attempting to have her books sold on Amazon and is planning to write her first romance novel.

‘Only You Can’ touches on forgiveness, mental health, loving yourself and how to fuel creativity from your pain.

To purchase her books, persons can contact Fraser on 674 8146.
