A new company in the construction sector –Trican Developments Inc. –is seeking suppliers of goods and services to participate in the construction of a mixed development facility inclusive of two 10-storey sustainable luxury condos, an office building and a multi-rise parking facility.

According to the company, the project aims to bring international standards of accommodations and office spaces to Guyana, while simultaneously celebrating Guyana’s rich cultural identity. “Our supplemental goal is to showcase the talent and resources available locally. Suppliers of goods and services are welcome to share their company’s profile to be shortlisted for participation on this project,” it noted.

This Expression of Interest (EOI) is an open invitation for interested persons and institutions, both local and foreign, to inform the company of their capacity to make the construction and use of the buildings a reality.

No cost proposals are required at this stage and the client holds no obligation to utilize materials submitted in the execution of this or any other project. Further details on the project can be found on https://tricandevelopments.com/document-centre/

Using architecture to create unique experiences in Guyana is the central aim of this project. According to the project details, each floor is twisted and contoured to provide a penthouse feel, in that, there is no roof overhead. Residents have access to the “Sky-yard”, providing a spectacular and unchallenged view of the night sky.

The condos will feature Luxury Offices, Courtyard Spaces, Elevated Green Spaces, Conferences Rooms, Events Spaces, Open Office Spaces and Valet Parking.

“The buildings focus attention to the central courtyard where guests are invited to experience Guyana’s cultural celebrations. The sky-view terraces serve as a great space to have an unforgettable experience. Guests can observe the celebration of Phagwah in the courtyard, or participate in kite flying from each terrace, or experience the light show the building performs during Diwali,” Trican noted.

Whether participating or viewing, the building aims to recreate truly culturally relevant experiences, as it fosters a sense of community, integrating the residents with Guyana’s culture while the project is designed to meet international standards and the latest building codes.
