IN LETHEM TODAY!

Persons living in Lethem Region 9 will today be interviewed, selected and shortlisted as pre-qualified for the recently announced Government of Guyana Lethem Housing Support Programme.

The programme was announced by President Irfaan Ali last month during an outreach to the Region.

Today, the team from the Central Housing and Planning Authority and Ministry of Housing will be at the Ministry’s Regional Office at Tabatinga, Commercial Block, Lethem from 09:00hrs.

Persons who have not started building in the Tabatinga, New Culvert City, and Lethem New Housing Development will be eligible for shortlisting for the programme.

There will be Representatives from a number of Commercial Banks doing on-the-spotpre-qualification for those who will be desirous of accessing bank financing.

Residents seeking pre-qualification both from the Ministry of Housing and the banks are asked to walk with their valid identifications and all other supporting documents related to land application and allocation.

Note: Kindly walk with a valid form of identification and all documents related to your allocation.

Those documents include;

• Copies of Applicant & Co-applicant’s TIN Certificates

• Copies of Applicant & Co-applicant’s ID Cards or Passports

• Copy of Marriage Certificate (if applicable)

• Job letters for Applicant and Co-applicant

• Copy of recent pay slips for Applicant and Co-applicant (Or an affidavit of Income if self-employed)

• Proof of Address

• Proof of ownership of the land acquired:
– Receipts
– Allocation Letter
– Transport / Certificate of Title
– Other
– Agreement of Sale
