Popular businessman Azruddin Mohamed is encouraging other businesspersons to contribute to noble causes and “be the change they want to see in this world.”

Mohamed has garnered the support of many on social media with his multiple giveaways of cash, school supplies, cars and other gifts to Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs), inspiring residents of various communities and single parents.

In a comment shared with Big Smith News Watch, he said “while there is an obligation to strive for excellence in everything one does, it is also about putting your heart and soul in the right direction to assist the less fortunate.”

The businessman noted that he is making a difference now as he believes being a role model and putting smiles on the faces of many, show humbleness and affection.

He noted that by working together, there can be a positive change.

Just last weekend, the businessman sponsored a Youth Empowerment Camp at Golden Grove where 100 young people drawn from Golden Grove and surrounding communities were engaged on topics including mannerism, gender based violence, performing arts, malicious Wounding, Employability tips, religion, leadership and professionalism among others.

Previously Mohamed made donations of spectacles to the Guyana Cancer Foundation, tablets and other items to schools across the country, cash to women to start or expand their businesses and sponsor several beauty contestants along with sporting teams.
