The Guyana National Broadcasting Authority (GNBA) has published the names of 25 broadcasters which have failed to pay their Broadcast Licence Fees. In a statement on Thursday, the agency said it “has been very patient and lenient,” but continues to face an arduous task of obtaining its fees from cable, radio, and television broadcasters.

Consequently, GNBA has taken the first step to publish the names which can be followed by further action.

“Importantly, be reminded that GNBA is empowered to take action against delinquent broadcasters. We are therefore requesting that the broadcasters listed above honour their obligations at the earliest,” the authority said.
