Earlier today, soldiers from the Guyana Defence Force were present at the facility where they erected a temporary structure which is expected to be used as a triage area for the arriving individuals.

After the individuals complete their mandatory seven days quarantine, they will be interviewed and profile by the Guyana Police Force Criminal Investigation Department before being released to reunited with their families and back into the general population.

Guyana does not have any structured state facilitated programs aimed at reintegration deportees into the local society.
