Suspects in better hope murder/robbery for court next week

The murders of Aaron Latchman and his daughter Ariana Latchman had nothing to do with a hit but everything with a robbery which was committed on the businessman and his daughter. This is according to police sources who are close to the investigation.
According to what was communicated to BIG Smith Crime Watch, four of the five men who are presently in custody up to late Friday had confessed to the crime while the police were still questioning the firth suspect.
The police are also said to be looking for the owner(s) of a white 212 motorcar which was used by the men as a getaway car. Based on intense questioning of the suspect by detectives from the major Crimes Unit and contrary to the reports that the killing was connected to a business deal which might have went sour, the suspects have all claimed that they were not acting on the instructions of anyone neither where they hired to carry out any hit on the businessman, a police source told BIG Smith Crime Watch.

Aaron who worked as currency changer in down town Georgetown reportedly had a large sum of cash on his person when they were pounced on. He put up a fight and the shots rang out resulting in him being fatally wounded.
As the men made good their escape, loot which they had taken from the businessman began to fall on the roadway a roadside vendor who was close by began picking up some portions of the cash, she was subsequently arrested and the police were likely to seek advice on the way forward as to if she is to be charged.
Outside of that, the bandit also shot his teen daughter, they told detectives that they shot the young girl because she managed to see the face of one of the bandits.
The men who are being questioned are from the communities of Parika, La Penitence, Mocha and Sophia; according to our police sources.
The men are expected to be placed before the court in the coming week after the police would have sought and were successful in receiving permission to keep the men beyond the 72 hours lawful detention period.
