Man found dead on Sheriff Street identified as Cove and John resident

60-Year-Old Rampaul Mohan 

The man who was found dead on the roadside Saturday evening has been identified as 60-year-old Rampaul Mohan also known as ‘Bolo’.

His relatives reached out to BIG Smith News Watch and reported that Mohan who lived alone at Lot 2 Cove and John, East Coast Demerara was last seen alive by his neighbors around 15:00hrs as he was leaving his home.

Mohan worked as a Butcher at the FoodMax Supermarket but did not work o Saturday as it was his day off. However, when he failed to show up for work on Sunday, relatives got concerned.

Days before his death, the elderly man complained of having migraine headaches and his relatives took him for medical attention. However, several tests were conducted on him at the Georgetown Public Hospital which showed nothing unusual, according to his relative who spoke with this publication.

The man leaves to mourn one daughter whose whereabouts according to relatives, are unknown. Her name was provided as Lisa Mohan who is said to be from the general Alberttown area in Georgetown.
