Broomes Confident of Support from Disciplined Services

August 22 2025
Assembly for Liberty and Prosperity (ALP) presidential candidate Simona Broomes on Thursday visited several polling stations where members of the Disciplined Services were casting their ballots.
Broomes reported that her party’s agents observed a smooth process, with no complaints recorded at the locations. While only at her first stop, she described the atmosphere as calm but steady, noting that queues were visible at some stations.
Expressing optimism, the ALP leader said she is confident that members of the joint services will rally behind her party, emphasizing that she expects strong support when ballots are counted.
She posited that “I believe that they want that good change also, and that going in the ballot places they would vote nothing else than the eagle.””
