Black Water murders: Workers bludgeoned/stabbed and shot says police
Police are en route to the a gold mining operation in Black water Backdam, Cuyuni River where two men were found murdered at a mining camp.
In a release, the police identified the dead as General Manager Richard Bachan and Security Officer Niles. The men were discovered men on Thursday morning by Kevin Faerber.
“From appearances it appears that Niles had been bludgeoned to the head and Bachan possibly stabbed or shot,” the police release said.
An AR 15 and mats from the sluice box are among the items said to be missing from the camp.
