Constable under close arrest for raping teen relative

A police constable in Berbice has been placed under close arrest while a teenage family member has been taken for medical attention as detective investigate an allegation of rape, leveled against the cop by his relative.

BIG Smith Crime Watch was told that the constable is attached to a police station on along the Corentyne Coast in the police ‘B’ Division.

We were told that the incident took place on Sunday last while the teen was reportedly assisting the policeman in preparing dinner when she visited his home.

After completing her tasks, she decided to get ready to leave but it was at that point that the policeman forced himself on the teenager and began removing her clothing.

It was reported that the cop held onto the child even as she resisted and forcefully had sex with her.

Meanwhile the police in Georgetown are continuing their investigations into a matter of rape which was leveled against a group of men, one being the son of a policeman.

The victims in that matter are accusing a female police rank of attempting to corrupt the investigation to prevent the son of the policeman from being brought to justice.
