Bound body of unidentified man found under Takatu Bridge.
The bound body of an unidentified man was found at around 16.00 hrs on Wednesday, May 10, under the Takatu River Bridge that links Lethem in Region Nine to Brazil.
The victim was in a sitting position, and his limbs were bound with a length of multi-coloured rope. A length of cloth, suspected to be his underwear, was tied around his neck. Marks of violence were seen on his neck and right knee of the victim, who was dressed in a long-sleeved black shirt and black underwear.
The body is at the Lethem Regional Hospital awaiting a postmortem.
