37 year-old feared dead after boat runs over canoe.

A 37 year-old is now missing and feared dead, following a boat accident in the Lower Pomeroon, Essequibo, last night.
The man has been identified as  Harry Mangal, a resident of Abrams Creek, Upper Pomeroon River. The accident reportedly occurred around 21:00hrs. Last night within the Abrams Creek area.
According to reports, Mangal was the sole occupant of a canoe, which was ran over by a wooden boat. The boat was reportedly powered by a 15 horsepower outboard engine.
Search is on the way for the man’s body, and a subsequent report will be provided.
