PM Confirms Drowning as Cause of Death for Linden Handyman

May 8, 2025 — A post-mortem examination has confirmed that Henry Gardener, a handyman from Toucan Drive, Amelia’s Ward, Linden, died by drowning.
According to a police report, the autopsy was performed on Wednesday, May 7, 2025, by government pathologist Dr. Nehaul Singh at the Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. Following the examination, Gardener’s body was handed over to his relatives for final rites.
Gardener’s lifeless body was discovered in the swimming pool at Toucan Mall—where he also resided—on the morning of Tuesday, May 6.
Investigators believe the drowning occurred sometime between 8:00 p.m. on Monday, May 5, and 7:20 a.m. the following morning.
Police are continuing their inquiries to determine the circumstances leading to the incident.
