Mohamed Alli who was back in 2015 arrested for walking into the Queens College High School and confiscating the mobile phones of several students under the guise that he was a detective, has escaped from the Georgetown Public Hospital.

The con artist escaped sometime between last evening and this morning from the GHPC where he was being treated after suspected of swallowing a razor blade. Alli was a prisoner of the Timehri Prisons where he was serving a six year sentence.

No one from the Guyana Prison Service was immediately available for comment on the matter.

Back in 2015 Alli went into the school and presented himself as the new Arts stream teacher and instructed them to hand over their electronic gadgets. The con artist reportedly told the students that he was heading to the Stella Maris Primary School and would return with the items, but never did. Two days later, Ali struck again.
