BREAKING: Former Crime Chief Makenlall dies

DEAD: Retired Crime Chief and OPR head Makenlall

Former Assistant Commissioner of Police and Crime Chief Heeralall Makhanlall (9531) has died.

Makhanlall who served as Crime Chief before handing over that post to Seelall Persaud, died during the course of last evening and Thursdsy morning.

BIG Smith News Watch has been able to confirm Makenlall’s death with a number of senior police sources.

At the time of his death, he was residing at Herstelling, East Bank Demerara.

After returning as Crime Chief, Heeralall returned to the force where he functioned as Head of the Police Office of Responsibility (OPR) for a number of years.

BIG Smith News Watch extends sympathy to the relatives and friends of the Makenlall and the Guyana Police Force.
