Education Minister Priya Manickchand on Monday said the Government is working to ensure every school access the same resources to produce top-performing students. She was at the time addressing a press conference hosted to release the results of this years Caribbean Advanced Proficiency Examination (CAPE) and the Caribbean Secondary Education Certificate (CSEC) Examination.

“Very soon, we would announce the NGSA results and everybody, a lot of people aim for…the best schools. But I want you to remember when those results are announced that any school could be a good school. What we require is good teaching, parental support and interest from the students and we will make you a top student in any school. We’re working extremely hard to make every school equal, with every school having the same resources and once we can do that, a name will be but a name with its own traditions but the quality of education will be the same,” the Minister noted,

Her comment came as this year’s top CSEC and CAPE students came from Regions Two (2), Three (3), Four (4) and six (6).
